Bhavesh Sharma
Managing Director, InsuringIndia
Bhavesh has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held senior positions with JPMorgan, American Express, Arthur Andersen, Financial Times and has been advisor and consultant to various companies in India and the UK. He was a key contributor to the Reserve Bank of India for a new framework of a national ‘Electronic Benefits Transfer’ programme in India (white paper submitted) and also successfully conceptualized and delivered banking solutions to the UK government to meet national financial inclusion objectives.
He is a regular commentator and has written for the Financial Times and The Economic Times, amongst various other publications. He has also delivered talks to top-tier institutes and is passionate about inclusive finance. He is an alumnus of the London School of Economics (MSc.) and the London Business School (MBA) and is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute in London and a member of the working committee at the Commonwealth Business Council.
